ContendoVR is a proprietary system that the NBCC Mobile First Technology initiative (MFTi) developed for Contendo Training Solutions that offers novel mechanisms for authoring and interacting with professional training content using augmented reality.
Research topics
augmented reality, educational technologies
MFTi's goal for the ContendoVR project was to provide Contendo Training Solutions with the means to incorporate new types of learning objects and user interaction methods using panoramic images, thereby enhancing the value of their products and services. ContendoVR is expected to make significant improvements to postsecondary and professional training by providing new forms on interactivity with learning content.
