The NBCC Mobile First Technology initiative (MFTi) monitors and evaluates technologies that enable cross-platform development of mobile apps, thereby reducing the costs to develop and maintain apps that run on multiple platforms (e.g., Android, BlackBerry, and iOS). MFTi has evaluated or used the following technologies in the context of other mobile app development efforts:

  • Bootstrap,
  • Google Polymer,
  • Kivy,
  • React,
  • React Native, and
  • Vizwik.
